Park Lawn Public School, Etobicoke
GRADES K-8
(“Etobicoke Public” Rankings)
The Park Lawn school ranking represents an opinion of ours based on hundreds of hours of research with the end-goal of determining where the “best” schools in the Toronto area are FOR young families.
Every other Ontario real estate website uses the “Fraser Institute rankings”, but these rankings can pose many problems for young families and some of these problems are mentioned below.
So we created the SUSI Rankings to help overcome these problems, and to help our clients find the best school/home combination possible!
HELPING YOUNG FAMILIES MAKE THEIR BEST DECISIONS:
Susi is very experienced at finding great homes for young families in recommended school districts, taking into consideration the best neighbourhoods in Toronto, as well. Whether you are a local buyer, a Canadian relocating to these parts, or an international buyer looking for a fresh start for your family, Susi has the most tools to help you find the ideal home.

Park Lawn School Ranking
HELPING YOUNG FAMILIES MAKE THEIR BEST DECISIONS:
Our Park Lawn school ranking is more reliable than the Fraser Institute’s ranking for young families because our ranking is far more integrated with the consistency and the “teacher support” a school receives – both HUGE factors – as well as EQAO Performance.
Park Lawn EQAO Performance & Consistency
The EQAO performance for Park Lawn is recorded each year at SusiHomes and turned into the figures you see to the left. These become the EQAO calculations used to determine our final annual rankings. A “consistency number” is then assigned to Park Lawn based on how dependable the school has been over the last seven years, and then all numbers are mixed with Teacher Support (below) before producing a final ranking. See a more detailed explanation of how we determine our rankings here.
Park Lawn Teacher Support

Median Income ($$) – 64.4K
Single Parents – 20.1%
University Degree – 39.6%
High School or Less – 28.8%
ESL – 3.5%
Recent Immigrants – 4.4%
The Teacher Support receives at Park Lawn is critical to determining its final ranking. Exactly what we mean by this is laid out here, but in a nutshell, if a school rises above their demographical expectations, they then can be considered a more worthy school, than others, for the attention of young family purchasers.
Park Lawn Final Ranking
The Park Lawn school ranking from SusiHomes is the most reliable ranking in the region, in our opinion, outperforming the Fraser Institute rankings which use less criteria. When considering the best schools in Toronto, this is the ranking we use.HOWEVER, not all well-ranked schools are recommended to our clients, and there are certainly MISTAKES that young families make when searching for homes in good school districts that should be avoided.
