The 2024 Yorkhill/Woodland FI school ranking represents an opinion of ours based upon hundreds of hours of research with the end-goal of determining where, exactly, the “best” schools in the Markham area ARE for young families.

Yorkhill (early years) is a dual-track school, meaning that there is BOTH English-only and French Immersion instruction here, and Woodland (later years) is a French Immersion-ONLY school, meaning that there is ONLY French Immersion instruction here. Together they make up the French Immersion tract from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Their EQAO performance is recorded each year at SusiHomes and then become the EQAO calculations used to determine our final annual rankings, which can be found RIGHT HERE.
